Urban Managers Development Program (UMDP)

The UMDP aims to provide a capacity building framework that will ensure continuous and sustained enhancement of the competencies of urban managers in the country.

The Urban Managers Development Program of the Local Government Academy in partnership with Philippine Urban Forum (PUF) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aims to:

  • Formulate and establish standards on Urban Management
  • Develop a program framework that will equip local personnel with the rudiments of Urban Management.
  • Establish a certification system that will ensure constant evaluation of the quality of urban management capacities in the Philippines.
