Suggestion To Look Up A Word

For the sake of ease in navigation, convenience and because some of the files are very big, I have divided them into smaller files. The word, for example, Be-zar is in file Bez, whereas the word Bedaar is in the file Bed.

One of the quickest ways to search a word in this Urdu - English Dictionary, is to go to the site map and pick the file closest to the word as it shows the exact break up of the words in different files. Otherwise, you might get irritated being led from one menu to the other until you finally reach the desired file! e.g., to look up for words starting with baa, cha, gha, kha, naa, sha, you will have to go through 4-5 menus to finally reach the file with the word you are looking for. The site map will take you directly to the desired file! Once you reach the file, you can either scroll down to find the word (one of the advantages of smaller file size in addition to its quick loading) or if the file size is slightly big (I am still working on breaking some more of them into smaller ones!), go to edit on the toolbar and click on: Find (on This Page)... Ctr+F. This pops up a menu to search for a word sayng "Find what:---" type on the desired word and it will take you to it on that page, provided it exists.

You can use the search in dictionary option too.
