- Brown Skin Spots.
They come as we grow older and appear on those areas of skin which have been exposed to the sun. Aloe Vera reduces or removes the spot after several months of twice-daily application of juice or gel.
- Burns and Scalds
. Aloe Vera is most known as an excellent first-aid treatment. It reduces the infection, stops pain and enhances the healing process. Just put the fresh gel (or leaf) on the wound.
- Sunburn
. Prevention and treatment. Aloe Vera gel blocks out over 90 % of the burning rays but allows over 75 % of the tanning rays to reach the skin. It repairs the skin after sunburn, just keep it wet with Aloe Vera juice or leaf.
- Cuts and Wounds
. You all know about the healing property of Aloe Vera: "Clean the wound, put Aloe Vera pulp - a fresh cut open leaf - in the wound, close it up tightly, and keep the bandage soaked in Aloe Vera juice." Many people attest to the ease of removing bandages, rapid healing and little or no scarring.
- Digestive Problems.
Taking a tablespoon or two of the juice or gel of Aloe Vera several times a day acts like a general tonic and mild regulator of the bowels. The sap, the yellow bitter fluid which flows between the skin and the pulp of the leaf, is a laxative, a cathartic. place the green peelings of the leaf in a jar of water and drink a little once ar twice a week as a natural remedy.
- Eye and Ear Drops.
Aloe Vera has been used for centuries. A few drops in an aching ear has often brought relief immediately, or sometimes increase the pain a little for a while before bringing relief. Many have acclaimed it as a fine eye drop solution, mixed half and half with water to reduce its acidity so it won't smart as much.
- Hair and Scalp Care
. Use Aloe Vera juice as a shampoo, hair set and conditioner for the benefit of both the hair and the scalp. It is said, that the Indians in Mexico wet their hair at night with the juice right from the plant, allowed it to dry, and then in the morning, rinsed with water, which even suds somewhat. This process reportedly added luster, richness and manageability to the hair. Treat diseases of the scalp by Aloe Vera juice, preferable fresh from the plant.
