Indonesian police arrest man believed linked to terror bombings
Indonesian police say they have arrested a man for alleged links to a group suspected
of planning terrorist bombings.
Indonesia's deputy national detective chief, Dadang Garnida, did not give the man's
name, but says he was arrested in West Nusa Tenggara province.
Police say the suspect is connected to a man called Adi Suryana.
He was arrested in Surabaya last January on suspicion of terror plots, including a plan
to bomb the national police and Jakarta police headquarters.
Police said at the time, that Suryana might also have information on fugitive
Malaysian explosives experts, Azahari Husin and Noordin Mohammad Top.
The Malaysians are wanted for attacks including the 2002 Bali bombing, that killed
202 people and the Marriott hotel bombing, which killed 12 people in Jakarta last
August.
