Britain warns of possible terrorist attack in Indonesia
The British government says it has received information that indicates terrorists are
planning attacks in Indonesia.
The website of the British embassy in Jakarta has warned its citizens to leave the
country if their presence is not essential.
The embassy says it's continuing to receive information that indicates terrorists are
planning further attacks -- including attacks against westerners -- throughout the
country.
Britain has also advised its citizens against visiting conflict areas such as Aceh
province, Ambon city and Central Sulawesi province in eastern Indonesia.
Indonesia has been hit by a series of terror attacks in recent years, including the
October 2002 Bali bombings which killed 202 people, mostly foreigners.
