Indon police arrest four suspected separatists in Maluku
Ambon, Maluku, June 22 (ANTARA) - Police in Indonesia`s Maluku province have
arrested four people suspected of being involved in the separatist South Maluku
Republic (RMS).
Police arrested the suspects at the house of RMS executive leader, Dr Alex
Manuputy, in Kudamati area, Nusawine subdistrict in Ambon city last Sunday, the
Maluku Police`s director for research and criminal affairs, Senior Commissioner
Usman Nasution, said here Tuesday.
"The suspects are under police investigation in the hope that they would disclose
other persons involved in the separatist group," he said.
