Palu high school gets bomb threat
PALU, Central Sulawesi: Palu I Junior High School received a bomb threat on
Monday, forcing the school principal to evacuate hundreds of its students for safety.
The threat that targeted the school was the second after a similar one in August last
year.
Following the threat, the Central Sulawesi provincial police bomb squad was deployed
to the scene immediately and combed the school area. The threat was proven to be
false.
Police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Victor Batara said that the police were looking into
the motive for the incident. -- JP
