Two explosions rock Bandung
JAKARTA (AP): Two near simultaneous explosions rocked the West Java provincial
capital of Bandung on Wednesday, police said. There were no reports of injuries.
Bandung police Sgt. Dali said officers were on their way to the scene of the blasts in
the parking garage of a shopping center and a nearby street.
The cause of the explosions was not immediately known.
Indonesia has been rocked by a series of deadly bombings since 2000, most them
blamed on the al-Qaeda linked terror group Jamaah Islamiyah.
Bandung is a crowded hill city about 150 kilometers southeast of the capital, Jakarta.
