The whole world's gone Ape!

The summer of 2000 not only marks the debut of the long awaited Planet of the Apes remake courtesy of Tim Burton and Co., but the much longer anticipated Marky Mark, er, um, Mark Wahlberg figure (at least by me!).  The sculpt is nice, but doesn't quite make it.  Check out  the six inch action figure.  They really nailed it there!  Perfect!  Ya know I'm dying to do a Boogie Nights Dirk Diggler version or maybe one from the Perfect Storm.  Who knows!

Actually these pictures do remind me of the action adventure  character that Dirk Diggler portrayed in his more 'adult' movies (the name escapes me at the moment).  Although I'd dare say this is a totally different kind of action.
