Señor de Ursúa. Maestrehostal of Prince Don Carlos, Mayor of Castilla de Maya in 1439 and Knight esteemed by Don Carlos as is evidenced by the many favours granted him. Assisted in Pamplona with the Military Arm to the coronation of King Juan II and Queen Blanca I of Navarra in 1429. He accompanied the Queen as its chanson (cobut) in the trip to Bilbao. Because he married a relative of four degrees of affinity requested dispensation which was granted by Pope Eugene IV.
Juan married Maria Juana de Ezpeleta, daughter of Mosén Beltran de Espeleta The First Viscount of Valderro and Leonor de Villespesa, in 1440.
