CHARACTERS

I guess I should explain, that these are not necessarily characters in RPGs. They are splinters of me. Facets of my personality that have taken on "existences" of they're own. I have had more in the past, and probably will have others in the future, but these three are my current ones.

Vladamir Bratovski

Vladamir is evil. Well, not exactly. By mortal standards he is evil, but not being a mortal Vladamir is more amoral. He is a Vampire, but unlike most he was not created. He was born to it. All most know of him is that was born in the small town of Jaszczurowka in the Malopolska region of southern Poland. When he was 18, he was inducted into the military, and as soon as he was finished with his basic training he was "drafted" by the "Committee for State Security," better known as the KGB. In 1981 he was assigned to the KGB "office" in Zakopane not far from his childhood home of Jaszczurowka. Indeed Vladamir spent a lot of his time in his former childhood home, untouchable as a member of the KGB he was a tyrant out of a nightmare. People who annoyed him disappeared, arrested in the middle of the night, never to return. Indeed in the entire area surrounding Jaszczurowka he was the unquestioned lord and master. Somehow or other Vladamir encountered a vampire, and became his servant. At first using his influence as a KGB colonel, later with the collapse of communism he became a vampire himself, and the emissary of the ancient one he serves. But none of that is true. His father is a Vampire lord, whereas his mother was a nameless peasant woman. Born roughly three hundred years ago, he seemed a normal, if some what "creepy" mortal. But as he grew older his father's blood began to manifest. While seemingly frozen at the age of 25, he began to develop the powers usually associated with the undead. Finally, roughly 20 years ago, he died in truth, and joined the ranks of vampires in truth. He currently travels the world (mostly the US) in the service of his sire.

CtW

Cute the Wraith. What can be said about this character. He's crazy. Or so it seems. He has in the past claimed to be the ghost of Abel, Noah, Methuselah, Shem, Alexander, Leonardo DaVinci, and others. None of which is likely true. At other times he has claimed to have never had a mortal existence. That is a strong possibility. He is known to appear from time to time, and "intervene" in the affairs of others. The purpose behind this intervention is never clear. He shifts between three states. Primarily he is crazy, acting and speaking in bizarre ways. At times however, he appears confused, unable to comprehend events around him. Finally, on rare occasions, he appears surprisingly lucid. It was during one of those latter times that he made an oblique reference to being an incarna of war. What exactly this means is unknown. Finally, the Paladin manifestation must be mentioned. On rare occasions Cute's normal form has been replaced by a figure in glowing silver armor wielding a sword with a blade seemingly composed of pure light. While this being has been defined as a major outpouring f devine energy into CtW's form, the truth has never been revealed.

The Troll

Aka Thoraim Rolnik Balor ap Hodi, Thoraim is a unique being. He appears to be a normal human (okay, a somewhat tall and pudgy normal human) but he is far stronger then he appears. He has the ability to assume a monstrous form, where he grows to more than nine feet in height, and is far stronger. In this form, his skin takes on a blush tinge, and his eyes become extremely pale, the iris's becoming nearly white. He develops horns, and fangs, and his musculature swells, to proportions normally seen only on body builders. It is unknown where he acquired this ability to change. However on several occasions he has made statements to the effect, "that all of my people have the ability to don a mortal guise." This would seem to imply that his second (monstrous) form is his true one, and that he is just one of an entire race of trolls. In his "troll form" as he calls it he is a virtually unstoppable fighting machine. He possesses sufficient strength to lift in excess of one hundred tons. His skin appears impervious to small arms, and hand-held weapons. Nor do most energy attacks seem to hurt him, saving those that are magical in origin. In fact he was once seen to take a 120mm shell in his chest with nothing more to show then a bruise. He has repeatedly made the claim that he is immune to mortal weaponry. However, what exactly this constitutes is unknown. He is also impervious to cold, remaining comfortable in sub-zero weather without the need for protective garb. On the converse while uncomfortable in hot weather he seems to suffer no adverse effect from it. When Thoraim first came to light he was already a highly skilled warrior. He is proficient with virtually all weapons of European or Middle Eastern origin, and quite a few from other cultures. He is also a skilled tactician, and is remarkably well read. He is knowledgeable in a wide range of subjects. Further on occasion he has displayed the ability to produce small magical effects, however he steadfastly denies being a mage, sorcerer, wizard, or any similar title. It is an interesting note that both technology and magic have been seen to inexplicably fail in his presence. There is no apparent pattern to this except to note that the more complex the effect (whether technological or magical in origin) the more likely it seems to fail.
