First of all, today I met Elya, our DV program assistant who finally came back from Uzhgorod. She riminds me Andry Mishin from the face... :-)

Coming as always late, I discovered Yaroslav called about the virus I wrote him about on saturday (also sent few e-mails) and he suggested Dr.Web - and I cleared out Polina's machine from this virus with the help of Dr.Web which cleared it really out, better than AVP which was only taking it out from memory. And guess what? A drive D and a CD-rom re-appeared! :-)

Also, Polina and Marina are back. Polina wasn't here in the morning but Marina was. When Polina came back she gave me my salary for the whole month to not devide in little parts, and I expressed to her my concern about Vika and Polina said she prevented me. She wrote then a e-mail to Edward Cronin, DV main coordinator... Such a mediator she is, sweety! He answered her and said he'll write me. Although I couldnt' understand why he didn't write to me all that she read but thankfully he expressed that Vika won't be any head of me. Confusing is also he wrote I'll have to send weekly reports (I don't know why Polina asked, I had it clear I send them to Greg, Ukrainian Offices Director) to him, Any Borysova and some other person. But I decided I'll wait instructions from him directly first. After all, he wasn't addressing to me...

The staff-meeting report was readlly time consuming - it took me half of the day to write it.

As to my computer, I changed the interrupt of LAN card to 12 and it worked also - now I'm calm that it own't give unexpected effects.

My next step was to install Adobe products but I thought I first install QuickTime I decided since I have the keymaker, I can try it full with all the authoring, but God the download was slow! I waited as long as I could but had to give up at some 0.5 Mbytes... *sigh* Tatyana Borysovna left earlier today and asked Elya to take me from work, but she was in hurry to leave at 6 and I think I was here till about 10 - now have to go home! Will try again the download from the next morning.
