23 March 2000 Today is a first spring day! It's cloudy and not too warm (it has been warmer already) but that's the first day when the air began to SMELL spring!... That feels so good!... And something wakes up inside of me... some dreams?... :-) At work, I think I finished to install all I needed to basically and got to typing my structure. Still nothing from Edward, so I had a little panic and wrote to Greg about it telling my report will arrive tomorrow as I'm finishing the structure to send it out and get replies by Monday. He wrote me a really nice wise letter and I'm just once more amazed at how wonderful he is. Pity he's leaving... Marina said to us they've chosen Han Lin who T.B. thought they'll give us for the new office manager when polina leaves in June for Georgia. He's apparently from chinese origine and he'll come to meet us tomorrow. Greg have set out personal invitations to everyone for the final party, welcoming Han Lin and Polina's birthday in Kiev. That's so nice to get a personal invitaion! He's very attentive - a quality but makes him personnaly precious to everyone... I should think about it as of a lesson to take for arms... Kostas called and I wanted to go copy the ZIP and take my money today but I don't have enough time to do it and type the structure... I'm desperate. Polina promised she'll help me translate and I decided then to better finish it in Ukrainian, for more that I was so tired that I felt no forces to go there, hurry... I actually was inviting Polina to drink something all trhee of us (as I heard her guy was refusing to go with her to the cinema) but she suddenly got urgent e-mails. When I called it back, i decided I'll wait for her and was writing a e-mail to Edward, when my computer hanged! That really put me into tears of rage. But I got to smoke and decided it's a sing - he writes me nothing, I pretend he don't exists either! But I'm really in such a poor state! Polina said she finishes her e-mail (one for all riends that can't wait her answers any more) and she takes me indeed out for a beer (I think she was hesitating before). That's it I'm done. One haven't to overload oneself like this. Yet, the good side was that I've sent out the Ukrainian variant of the structure. OUT FOR BEER!!!!! |
