AV-8B Harrier


The AV-8B Harrier is a V/STOL (vertical/short takeoff and landing)
multirole attack, close air support, ground attack with conventional
and special weapons, and support of Marine invasions. The AV-8B
replaced the AV-8A and A-4M, The AV-8B Harrier II Plus was first
introduced in 1993 and is the newest versions. The Harrier can
defend against other aircraft using AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles,
the AV-8B is also equipped with a 25mm 6-barrell gun.
