Tasco PDP1 Red Dot Scope

How does it work?
I bought my scope from a place on the inter net called E. Arthur Brown Company,
Inc. for $43.95 shipped. The place I ordered mine from gave me the standard
weaver mounting rails, a sun shade, lens covers, battery, cleaning cloth, and tool
all for $39.95, $43.95 shipped. Well most reddot scopes use lithium batteries and so
does this one. You put a coin style
lithium
battery in the top dial. Now your ready to go. This model has 11 different
brightness's. All you do to change between off and the 11 different brightness's, is
turn the big dial on the top between 1 to 11 and 0 is off. there is also windadge
adjustment on both sides. It is also a 20mm objective (Witch means 20mm viewable). A
reddot also allows you to do both eyes open shooting, Because, you don't need to
focus on 3 things at once like Iron sights (when you use Iron sights, you have to
focus on the rear and front sights, then you have to focus all that on the target).
In case your not familiar with reddots, a reddot scope is basically a scope with low
magnification, if there is any at all, with a dot that looks like a laser but only
you can see it through the scope. When you look through it , looks exactly like the
picture to the left. With this reddot on my M4 I can tighten my group up about 3 to
4 inches at 50 feet, witch is not bad at all.
In conclusion, I would say this is an excellent red dot to buy. If you have the money I would go with the PDP5, because, you have more control out of the winduge
adjustment than the PDP1, but if you don't have the money or you would like to spend
the money on some thing else that has to do with airsoft, and you still want to get
better accuracy than your Iron sights, then buy the PDP1. It's worth it.
