When I think back on these times
And the dreams we left behind
I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed
To get to have you in my life
Chibi-usa sighed, her pink hair was down and she
was looking out the attic window. She stared into
the night sky deep in thought. She was living in
the past again, with Usagi. She closed her eyes
and spoke his name softly. "Where are you
Helios? When will I see you again?" She
wondered aloud. Her thoughts sent her back to the
first time she saw him, in a dream.
"If you can hear me, if you can hear me
at all. Please, come to the crystal forest. I
have traveled, all night long, just to see only
you." She had heard the voice in her dream,
soft and masculine. She turned around and found
herself in a forest made out of crystal. There
was a lake in the middle of the forest and then
her breath caught in her throat. For there in the
center of the lake, standing on the surface of
the water stood the most beautiful creature she
had ever seen. He was a white stallion, his coat
was of such a white that would be impossible to
get in the real world. But that wasn't the
amazing part. He had huge snow white wings. He
was no horse but rather a Pegasus. He had a
golden horn growing from the center of his
forehead as well like the horn from a unicorn. He
was so beautiful. His soft blue eyes rested on
her and he walked toward her slowly. She moved
forward and she was there, on the lake, in front
of him. She went to her knees and he lowered his
head. She ran her hands down the gentle face of
the pegasus.
"Hello Pegasus." She said softly.
"Hello Small Lady." Her eyes widened
slightly when she heard him speak in her mind.
She smiled and his blue eyes locked on her own.
"I need your help. I have to find something.
There are a bunch of creatures after me...I
believe you have already faced some of them.
Please help me."
"I will do my best."
Chibi-Usa opened her eyes and sighed. She missed
him, Helios. She smiled slightly, odd that she
had first met him in the form of a Pegasus but
then that was the only way he could escape his
prison. She opened her window and watched the
snow fall gently from the sky. It was almost
Christmas. She looked down at the window ledge
and ran her hand along a package that was wrapped
nicely and addressed to Helios. "I miss you
Helios."
When I look back on these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me
Chibi-Usa smiled and moved the package from the
window sill, she laid her arms across the sill
and then laid her head on her arms. She closed
her eyes again, thinking back to when she had
switched ages with Usagi thanks to Palla-Palla.
It was a horrid nightmare. She had gone to the
crystal forest to try and find Helios. He would
not come when she called him. Tears streamed down
her cheeks. Had growing up so suddenly caused her
to loose the ability to see him, to talk to him.
"Pegasus! Pegasus!" She screamed his
name. She saw horses in the field and ran toward
them. She reached out her hand to touch one and
it crumbled. She pulled back horrified and looked
around in fear as all the other horses started to
crumble and the forest grew dark. "No!
Pegasus!" She cried out and she ran toward
the lake, she had to find him.
She found a light and ran toward it. There was a
fall of light and Pegasus was on the other side.
She cried and ran toward him. She was thrown back
by the light field and she screamed.
"Pegasus!"
"I had lost the light that had led me to you
my dear one. You are beautiful but it is not yet
time for you to be a lady, release the desire to
hold onto the false dream. Remove the darkness
eclipsing the truth of your light and you may
pass through." She closed her eyes and tried
running through again, as she did she changed
back to her normal age and size. She reached the
other side and ran into his arms...arms? She
looked up startled to see a young man holding
her.
"Where's Pegasus?" She asked softly and
went to pull away.
"I am Pegasus. Though you can call me
Helios."
"Helios." She smiled."Yes, I like
that." She closed her eyes and he leaned in
and kissed her gently before turning back into
the Pegasus.
"You are back my Small Lady."
Tears rolled down Chibi-Usa's cheeks as she
continued to remember the dreams and the time she
had shared with her beloved Helios.

She smiled and lifted her gaze to the night sky.
She remembered the time he took her flying. High
up in the sky.
She climbed onto his back and he began
galloping down the path, his wings flapping as he
prepared to take off. He smiled and lifted his
head. Chibi-Usa laughed as the wind rushed past
her pressing her night clothing against her skin.
Then they were in the air. The bands binding
Chibi-Usa's hair broke and flew off. Her pink
hair came down and floated about her. They flew
higher and higher rising above the clouds.
"Look down my lady." Helios said
softly. She looked down and smiled. Their shadow
raced along below them over the layers of clouds.
Helios laughed and launched himself higher, into
space. They came across a bridge of light and
while racing across it large white wings burst
from Chibi-Usa's back. She gasped in surprise.
"It's all right my lady, gently flap your
wings, test them before releasing."
Chibi-Usa smiled and lightly flapped her wings,
getting the hang of it and then she let go of
Helios and he slipped from beneath her. She
flapped her wings a bit harder and was soon
soaring alongside her friend. Birds of light
appeared and began flying with them. Chibi-Usa
and Helios laughed and they began to spiral and
dart amongst the light birds. Chibi-Usa smiled
and flapped her wings lightly landing in side
saddle fashion on Helios's back. Her wings
disappeared and he flew her back to the forest.
"Good Night Helios."
"Good Night my lady."
Well, you showed me how it feels
To have the sky within my reach
And I always will remember all the strength you
gave to me
Your love made me make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me
Chibi-Usa suddenly started and shook her head.
The next memories weren't very good ones, and
yet, they were at the same time. She smiled
fondly and closed her eyes. Forcing herself to be
brave and face the next wave of memories.
Chibi-Usa screamed in pain as she was held in
the column of energy by Neherenia. The Golden
Dream Mirror burst forth from her. She fought the
power but it was no use and Pegasus was drawn
out. Neherenia smirked. "You will do as I
command or..." She finished the sentence by
sending another jolt of energy through Chibi-Usa.
Chibi-Usa screamed in pain and Pegasus moved
slowly forward. Chibi-usa begged him not to go.
She said she could handle the pain. Pegasus shook
his head and turned into a ball of blue light. He
rejoined his body. Helios came to life and
dropped from the cage he was in. His white robes
gathered around him.
Neherenia smiled."You are mine! You and the
Crystal belong to me!" She cackled and
Helios just stared at her. His blue eyes pierced
right through her, into her sole. She began to
wrinkle and grow older. "Stop looking at me!
Stop staring at me like that!" Helios
remained unmoved. "It's those eyes! Those
same damn eyes!" She blasted Helios back and
Chibi-Usa caught him. He stirred as Chibi-usa
wrapped her arms around her fallen beloved.
"If I can't have you...." Neherenia
called up her webbing and tore the two lovers
apart.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as Chibi-Usa forced
herself to remember.
"Chibi-Usa!" Helios screamed and
grabbed her hand before they were torn apart.
Chibi-Usa looked up at him, suddenly startled
then her eyes softened.
"That's the first time."
Helios blinked, not quite understanding. She
smiled."That's the first time you've called
me by my name." He smiled as well.
Neherenia's eyes narrowed and she ripped the two
of them apart.
"Chibi-Usa!"
"Helios!"
Then the pain began. Chibi-Usa screamed as pain
racked her small body. Slowly she lifted her head
and stared defiantly at Neherina. Then they were
free. Chibi-Usa ran toward Helios's motionless
body. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she took
him into her arms.
"Helios..."
"Chibi-Usa..." His voice trailed off,
his eyes closed and his head fell limp. Then...he
was gone. His body turned to a thousand lights
and he vanished. Chibi-Usa screamed and cried as
Neherenia made her escape with the Golden
Crystal.

Chibi-Usa opened her eyes and stared out into the
night sky. It was growing colder. She sighed and
lifted her head. She glanced over to her
nightstand where the Stallion Stable once stood.
She could always talk to him through it. She
sighed and closed her eyes. He did not die, not
like she though he had. No, he came back to her,
to save her again.
Neherenia had the crystal and gloated as she
repeatedly blasted the helpless Sailor Senshi
over and over again. Chibi-Usa remembered that
somehow the Amazoness Quartet had gotten the
Golden Crystal away from Neherenia and to Sailor
Moon. Sailor Moon couldn't make the Crystal work
so Chibi-Moon stepped forward and sent her prayer
to the people of earth.
"Please everyone listen! Bad people have
come to destroy our earth and seal it in
darkness. I need your help everyone! Please! Say
with me, Moon Crisis Power!" She felt the
people of earth send their energy and join the
fight. "There are still dreams, people still
believe in their dreams Nehelenia!" A blast
went forth from the Crystal that staggered
Neherenia. Then she blasted Chibi-Moon and Sailor
Moon. Chibi-Moon was thrown back toward the wall
but she was caught, by Helios. She looked up at
him surprised and he smiled.
"I'll always protect you Chibi-Usa."
She smiled and ran forward to try again. This
time they were able to defeat Nehelenia.
Chibi-Usa opened her eyes again and then looked
down at the package she still held. She sighed.
"Oh Helios..."

"Yes, Chibi-Usa?" There was a flash and
Chibi-Usa turned around slowly. Her eyes went
wide as she saw him there. She couldn't believe
it.
"Helios!" She ran forward and into his
arms. He smiled and wrapped them around her.
"Oh Helios, I've missed you so much."
"I know Chibi-Usa, I know. That's why I'm
here now. You called and I came." He smiled
and turned her face up toward him. Chibi-Usa
closed her eyes and blushed as Helios kissed her.
"I love you my Small Lady."
"I love you Helios." She then broke
away from him and ran back to the window where
she left his present on the sill. She ran back
and held it out to him. "Merry Christmas
Helios!" Helios smiled and took the gift. He
sat down on the edge of her bed and carefully
unwrapped the present. He smiled when he saw what
it was and pulled out a delicate glass Pegasus
with a girl riding on it's back.
"Thank you Chibi-Usa. I will treasure it
always." Chibi-Usa blushed deeper. "I
have a present for you as well." Helios
pulled a single snowy white feather out of his
pocket and touched it lightly to the Golden
Crystal. The feather became mounted to a small
piece of gold making it into a pendent. Then a
chain formed around the pendent. He smiled and
motioned Chibi-Usa to come toward him.
Chibi-Usa did and turned her back to him as he
stood up and placed the pendent around her neck.
She smiled and he placed his hands on her
shoulders and gently turned her so she was facing
him. Then he kissed her again.
He turned into Pegasus and took her flying again
that night and when they came back to her Room
Chibi-Usa was already asleep. Helios smiled and
carefully carried her to her bed, tucked her in,
and kissed her on the forehead. "Aishiteru,
Chibi-Usa." Then he was gone. Chibi-Usa felt
a cold wind and snuggled farther under her
blankets.
