Yup... This site is on Clover... I basically did not buy the comics and read them, but I do have a chapter of it from Mixx's Smile Magazine and it got me real interested!
So far, 4 volumes have been published in Japanese, and I sneaked a peak at the manga translations that I found online.
The story is about how Kazu is sent on a mission to take this four leaf clover, Suu, to visit Fairy Park. Kazu is reluctant to go but is blackmailed by one of these researching wizards. At first the five elders/wizards were also reluctant to allow a four leaf clover to exit the lab, but they complied. This is because a four leaf clover holds tremendous magical power that rules over the three leaves and the three over the two and so on. Kazu and Suu are helped by Lan, a three leafed clover and Gingetsu, a two.
When the pair arrives in Fairy Park in Volume 2, K- discovers that Suu had known Oruha, his old lover, who was a one leaf. Oruha didn't have any powers at all except the ability to predict her own death. In the end of this volume, Suu dies...
Volume 3 talks back to the past as to how Oruha's and Suu's relationship formed, how they wrote the clover song together. Volume 4 is about how Lan came about to live with Gingetsu.
Personal Thoughts: Very creative storyline. Drawn nicely and also has a very interesting plot... the storyline is very unique as in it retells the past, even devoting volume 3 and 4 to how there important characters came about. Oruha's outfits are skimpy, but Suu seems really sweet. Kazu and Gingetsu are cool looking government type people with the whole get up. Teenager Lan is very vulnerable and the story with his twin brother and make u really suspicious with all the stuff that Clamp is making up. Who would kill their own brother because he wasn't nearby and was happy because he wasn't be your side? Weird...
CLOVER
But, nevertheless this story has charm and I'm still looking forward to see what happens to this bunch of misfits.
