This manga talks about the revival of Sakura, a three hundred year old child by (Yeh Cha) King. According to the prophecy the six stars will overthrow the
ursurper of the King of the Gods throne, (Diy Sick Teen). The story seems simple enough right? Well, on the way, (Yeh Cha) and Sakura meets several interesting people, one is a harp playing queen, who only chosed to follow (diy sick teen) because he has power, the only survivor of the tribe whose blood can give immortallity to one person, the young dragon king who has no wished to succeed the throne of his sick grandfather and so on...
As the story progresses, we find that there are many people excluding (diy sick teen) who want Sakura dead. Also that Sakura isn't as innocent as one assumes. His mother betrayed the Ashura clan and committed adultery with (diy sick teen). At that time she was pregnant with both the Ashura King and (diy sick teen)'s baby. When they were born, she killed off Ashura's son and kept the other, becoming queen of the heavens when (diy sick teen) ursurped the throne three hundred years ago...
Personal Thoughts:
Sorry, that I don't know all the people's name in this story! This anime is drawn very nice, especially in the last volume. The story starts out as sort of boring and then it gets all weird with realtionships that
are sort of homosexual. Otherwise than that the love that the charcters have towards their lovers are sometimes hidden and bothe don't realize that they
bothe love each other until it is too late. That is very sad and you even get tears when you read it. Especially from the ending. Although all of Clamp's works nearly all have life- death situations, I think this one took it to a little extreme... But I must say the last volume is the core of the whole series, although we suspect the truth from the beginning that Sakura is not all good, the ending shows that (Yeh Cha) did have an effect on him.
RG VEDA
Faced with the horrible truth that his own mother wanted him dead, Sakura is constantly saying that he will cause the death of all those around him. He is sad that no one wants him. But (Yeh Cha) slowly reassures him that this is not true.
Behind the scenes, there is kujaku, a mysterious purple haired guy who appears once in a while telling Sakura and (Yeh Cha) where to go...
SO what is the secret?? I guess you should read to find out.
