This anime takes place in the future. There is a battleship called the Nadesico! The captain of the the Nadesico is a young woman by the name of Yurika. The crew is mostly comprised of woman. This anime has some big mecha and a little romance on the side. All and all it is a pretty decent anime. It also has one of the best begining theme songs! I deffinently recomend seeing this anime!
