Description of Medical City Hospital:
It is a complex that contains:
1. General hospital
2. Surgical specialties hospital
3. Pediatric hospital
4. Gastrointestinal center
5. Nursing home
Each contains about 400 beds. It is the main hospital in the country and the teaching hospital of the University of Baghdad. It has an emergency service and its units provide tertiary service in all the disciplines.
I am Professor of Surgery (Urology) for the last sixteen years. I have undergraduates’ duties that include lectures and word rounds. I operate daily on general urological cases and perform kidney transplantation twice weekly.

As a Dean of Iraqi Board of Urology I have about ninety students at a time distributed through out 12 centers in Iraq. I have my own three or four attached students. I supervise their required dissertations as part of their fulfillments. I work more than 75 hours per week.
