8/26/2004 – General Meeting
When: Thursday, August 26th during lunch

This Thursday, August 26th during lunch, APALSA will be holding its first general meeting of the semester. It is open to everyone, and food & drinks will be provided. We will be posting flyers with more information this week. Some things on the agenda:
- Eat pizza
- Introductions - Who are we? Who are you? Also, what we plan on doing this year.
- The mentor program - We swear it's not a meat market. No, really.
- Invitations to the start-of-semester beach party (see below)
- Information about our used book sale. 2Ls and 3Ls – bring your used books and study guides!
8/28/2004 – Beach Party
When: Saturday, August 28th at 11:00am
Where: TBA (Come to our general meeting to find out, or look for our flyers)
We will be having our start-of-semester beach party this coming Saturday, August 28th at 11:00am. The Board will be arranging rides for those who need them. Details to follow.
8/30/2004 – Applications for 2L and 3L Mentors Due
When: Monday, August 30th
Where: The APALSA mailbox (next to the 3L mailboxes) or email Andi at .

9/4/2004 – SCCLA End-of-Summer Party
When: Saturday, September 4th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm

The Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association is hosting an end-of-summer party on Saturday, September 4th. It is intended to help law students learn about job placement skills and to provide an opportunity to hear leading attorneys speak on the practice of law. Dress is casual, lunch is provided.
