Comment: i enjoy reading about our history in regard to wwII. i was born
in '39 in germany, married a GI
fstationed in bad hersfeld in 1960 and been in this country since 1961.
i had very little or no
understanding of what precededand took place during the war as well as
afterward . nobody talked about it at
home or at school. what i want everybody to be aware of is the fact
this deranged man, who
brougt all this on was not even a german citizen. to the association "keep
up the good work"

Comment: An exceptional site - appearance and content. A genuine gold mine
for me. I am building a site devoted
to those who performed police duties in occupied Berlin from 1945 to
1994. Clearly the
U.S. Constabulary played a crucial role. My site is barely off the ground,
but the pages can be accessed at >
http://www.homestead.com/policingberlin45/index.html < I would like
to encourage your
members who served in "Divided City" to share some of their memories with
other veterans of Berlin service.

Comment: Hi Irene. Sue & I just retruned from OP 8's annual reunion
in Las Vegas. Let me know where I can
send pictures.
I enjoyed seeing Phil Sandoval for the 1st time in over 50 years. He &
his wife Lala helped make this reunion for
me as a fun time reliving memories. So sad Gilbert wasn't there with
us. He was with us in
spirit though.
Fond regards to the Matherne Clan

from 1945 to 1955" Just to make sure I'll take it on my videorecorder
in case anybody is
interested to watch it too. Give me a short note. Greetings from Germany
