               The Final Muster

It is with deep regret that we announce a member of our Out post has been summoned to answer the Final Roll Call.
Leonard, William K. SR.  A Co. 4th Squadron, Austria, March 9, 2006.

This Trooper went away today,
Called to his final rest.
But God smiled down and was heard to say,
He only takes the best.

From the Editor’s typewriter:
The 11th ACR  recently returned from IRAQ. They discovered that the 11th ACR was part of the US Constabulary and have
Contacted Commander Franklin for information. They have advised him that any member who served in the 11th ACR is eligible for membership in ‘The Blackhorse Association.’ If you were a member of the 11th ACR, and are interested, you should contact:

Before I get lost in thought, Adjutant Ed Yetsko asked me to remind everyone that has not paid dues for 2006 to do so immediately, or sooner. A check for $8 should be sent to National Adjutant Robert Monasmith at 26229 Ardmore Drive, Hemet, CA 32544-6652.  As Bob has noted, the planning for the June reunion has been completed with the hotel. It has now been confirmed that the Tioga Downs, completely refurbished has been scheduled to open in May. This will be the centerpiece of the county and is only 10 minutes away from the Treadway. Unfortunately literature was not available for more specific details.
We ask that anyone planning, or even thinking of attending the reunion fill out the reservation and registration forms and send them in. Establishing expected number of attendees is vital for purchase of name badges, snacks and beverages, and this year Pizzas. Refunds will be given if you are unable to attend.
In order to provide a place for everyone at our Wednesday Dinner, and to accommodate those that want to sit together please appoint a table captain and have him submit a list to The Editor (ADDRESS in COLUMN to the LEFT). We plan eight to a table, but will make a table for ten. If uneven numbers, just submit the names and we’ll fill the table with singles and couples.
You will note that there are no shirts listed for the Supply Room on the last page. The price of shirts has been going up, embroidery is increasing, as is postage to ship the shirts. However, we will have some shirts for sale at the reunion.
If you register and there is additional information to be given for the reunion, we can send it to all that are registered. If you think you will wait till a later date to make a decision, you will not receive that information.
