THE BOWL GAMES OF
THE CCFFL

No college season would be complete without bowl games. The CCFFL is no different, as we use bowls for bragging rights and, more importantly, to decide our national champion. Winning a bowl game is quite prestigious and the winning team receives recognition by having a banner permanently placed on their media page. This is a brief history and description of the three bowl games that all 16 CCFFL teams strive to reach

The Good Times Bowl

The Good Times Bowl is the CCFFL's newest bowl. It was brought about after the league expanded to 16 teams in 2001. The 5th and 6th ranked teams in the final regular sesaon BCS poll are invited to the bowl. The winner finishes the season ranked 4th in the nation, while the loser finishes 6th. The trophy awarded to the winning team is the JJ's Dy-No-Mite!!! Hat Trophy, a swell looking denim hat worn by Jimmie Walker himself. The inaugeral Good Times Bowl featured one of the highest scoring games in league history, as Duff Beer scored at will against then-defending CCFFL champion Slacker, taking the game 132-73.

The Partridge Bowl

The Partridge Bowl is an original CCFFL bowl and holds a fair amount of importance, because the winner of the game finishes the season ranked #3 in the nation. Two league MVPs have won this bowl, and both are in the Hall of Fame. The Partridge Bowl has also featured some of the better games in the CCFFL's bowl history, including the 2001 game that was decided by a field goal as time expired. The prize for winning is the Partridge Family Bus trophy, the only trophy in the world that an entire team can fit into.

The Brady Bunch Bowl

The biggest game of the season. The brawl for it all. The grandaddy of them all. Whatever cliche you use, the Brady Bunch Bowl lives up to it. The bowl originally matched up the champion of the Emmanual Lewis Division with the champion of the Gary Coleman Division to decide the CCFFL National Champion. After the league expanded in 2001, the game participants became the top two division winners, with the other two division winners vying for spots in the other two bowls. Over the years, the championship game hasn't been the most competitive of bowl games, but that doesn't matter to those few players lucky enough to have their names etched on the Alice the Maid trophy as champions of the CCFFL.
