2002 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
THE PEOPLES' UNIVERSITY OF BEIJING
MEDIA GUIDE
This is your home for all the information about the Million Dollar University Bills. MDU is an original founding member of the CCFFL but has changed nicknames almost yearly. In 1998 and 1999, then known as the University of South Park, MDU used the nickname "Scuzzlebutts", then changed to the "Lords of the Underworld" for the 2000 campaign. In 2001, they once again changed names to the Saddam Husseins, before midseason leaving South Park and the tyranical dictator behind and becoming the Million Dollar University. MDU has also changed coaches almost every season. Chef headed the troops in 1998 and 1999 but he gave way to Timmy in 2000. But Timmy's inability to get out of the wheelchair or actually say anything other than the word "Timmay" caused problems within the program so he was replaced by Saddam himself in 2001, until Saddam was forced to flee and hide for his safety following the 9-11 attacks. The team then changed to its current name and is currently coached by its namesake, Ted DiBiase, the Million Dollar Man. The team enjoyed it's most successful campaign to date in 2002, winning a then league-record 11 games and the National Championship. 2007 brought about further changes for the franchise as it was moved to China and renamed The People's University. People's U. was a member of the Emmanuel Lewis Division until the 2001 expansion prompted their realignment into the Mushmouth Division.
