Nanami is Touga's younger sister, and later in the series, she becomes acting Student Council President due to Touga's absense at school during the Black Rose Saga. She hates anyone that tries to get near her dear brother. She, as Miki so aptly puts it, has a big brother complex. In other words, she thinks her brother is the greatest guy in the world, and no one else can make her happy. She has her three little followers that help her do evil things to Utena and Anthy throughout the series.      In the Black Rose Saga, Mitsuru, (yet another of her little slaves) pulls out her spirit sword to fight Utena, in fact, Nanami had two swords...or rather a sword and a dagger.    She is supposed to help bring comic relief with her anecdotes and failed plots, and she's always trying to prove what wonderful fashion sense she has...which is just a joke...she has no bloody fashion sense! In actuality, the onlt time in the series I feel sorry for her is when she loses to Utena the first time and she's all sobbing on Touga. It's one of those things where you realize, it's not entirely her fault she's the way she is, Touga just encourages her.
