Week 19:
Skin is about the same as last week with slight improvements. Always happy to announce that there has been improvements even if it is slight.
At the beginning of this week, 2 gigantic (and I mean GIGANTIC) zits were forming on my left cheek. I thought that they'd be full-blown by now, but instead they dried up before they even came out. THANK GOODNESS!!! Because they both would have been at least half an inch in diameter each!! and one of them was right next to my nose; imagine the sight!
The two gigantic zits on my right cheek that have been here for a while are drying up...and hopefully, by the end of this week, they'd be gone for good. :::knocks on wood:::
There was one gigantic zit on my left cheek before, but it has dried up quite a bit, too, by now. Hopefully, it will be gone by the end of this week, too. Oh, what am I talking about? I hope every zit on my face will just dry up and leave my face alone for the rest of my life, not just those 3 zits.
This week, my left cheek broke out a bit with whiteheads. Ew. But I squeezed them and they seemed to have gone. I know squeezing is bad, but I can never resist a fully riped whitehead--it is just asking to be squeezed. Plus, whiteheads are so tender that they pop by themselves when I wash my face.
Skin has definitely gone up a grade: from a disgusting F to a needs improvement D.
Keep up the good work, skin and Accutane!!
By the way, I bought a new shampoo and conditioner to use: Nioxin. I haven't used it yet, but it's supposed to be good for hairloss; it promotes hair growth. I freaked out quite a bit yesterday due to the fact that I washed my hair for the first time in a week and a bunch of hair fell out. So, I ran to the nearest salon that sells Nioxin and bought it. I bought the cleanser and the scalp therapy.
My hair and scalp is so dry that I don't think I need to wash it for a whole month if I don't want to.
Also, I finally succumbed to Aquaphor for my lips. I have been using Chapstick Medicated forever and didn't want to replace it due to Accutane. Well, I must say that Aquaphor beats Chapstick by a long run. I love it!!! It makes my lips feel so soft. What made me buy it was because I forgot my chapstick at home yesterday and my lips became really dry in about 1 or 2 hours of no chapstick. So, it was flaking crazily. I bought Aquaphor and it fixed my lips in just a couple of hours!! Usually Chapstick would leave behind dead skin and I would have to brush the dead skin off with a toothbrush, but not Aquaphor. It's really good.
I counted my pills today and added next month's pills, and I figured out that I have 45 days to go! One month and a half. 6 more weeks...
I can do it! *keeping my fingers crossed*
