she may be smaller, but she usually wins
this used to be the comforter on our bed, but they liked the color, so they claimed it as theirs  :)
they always fight over their ball...
Malik  &  Amirah
these are my 6 month old rottie/pitbull puppies... their names are arabic, meaning king and princess. i don't plan on breeding either of them. they are smart, energetic, playful dogs. they're very protective of our house, my wife and me, and each other. they're going to obedience school soon to make sure that i can control them better. with this particular mix of two well known dogs, there's the potential for accidents to happen. they'll still be tough and intimidating when they need to be, but that's for me to decide, not them...
these were taken while they were still wearing their first chains. i wish that they would have had their tails docked as puppies, but by the time we got them, it was too late. now it would require anastethia, and cost around $800 each dog. malik still has his dewclaws on his rear legs (fifth toes), but amirah was born without them...
these are from our trip to north shore, waimea bay, one of the nicest beaches on the island, in my opinion. it's my favorite because they don't mind the dogs as long as we pick up after them and keep them under control. malik loves the water, but amirah is scared to death. she doesn't even like to take baths.
