			The Boquerón Power Squadron offers boating courses, educational materials, a newsletter, vessel safety checks and fraternal activities
				Courses
								BOATING - A basic boating course that is offered to the public. Covers boat safety, handling and basics of navigation. Seamanship, Piloting, Advance Piloting, Jr. Navigator & Navigator courses - Advance courses for members. Electives - Several electives courses are offered covering topics such as marine maintenance, marine electronics and weather.
				Activities
								Several types of activities are offered: Randevouz Boat Safety Week District Conferences Social Activities Over-Night Cruises
				Newsletter
								A news letter is published, Boquerón Sound. It contains information about the Squadron activities and the boating activity on the western coast.
				Vessel Safety Check Program
								The vessel safety check program is focused on the orientation of the boat operators in terms of the safety equipment required for each kind of boat. A sticker is given to the owner of the boat certifying that the boat is ready for sea and fun in terms of safety..
