Vice Admiral Jokinen eyed the Lieutenant and walked over to his chair.
He sat down, ignoring the creaking protests of the chair. "At ease,
Lieutenant," he said, and took the PADD Stavay offered. The device
contained the biographical information and service record for the Orion
officer.
"Everything seems to be as it should be." Jokinen touched a few buttons
on the PADD, and handed it back to the Lieutenant standing before his
desk.
"I assume you already knew this, but you are being assigned to the USS
CHESAPEAKE, as the ship's counsellor. It's a brand new ship, Hood
class, and currently docked right here on DELTA. The CO is Captain
Amanda Bell, the XO being one Commander Daniel Brennan. Report to
either upon boarding. The ship is in main docking bay. Welcome to GREEN
Fleet, Lieutenant, and good luck. Dismissed."
