Keyrin did as the Admiral suggested (ordered?) and handed over her
PADD. Jokinen took it, and after quickly making sure the Ensign was who
he thought she was, and going where he thought she was, he downloaded
the information about her assignment. Without the PADD, she might have
trouble being allowed to board her ship later.
Handing the PADD back to the Ensign, Jokinen spoke, "For further
reference, inside this office, *I* am the only one allowed to look like
you just did when you walked in. In fact, I get paid to do just that."
He paused for a moment, and Keyrin wondered if the Admiral was serious,
or being flippant. "But then to your assignment," Jokinen continued,
"You are to be the CSO on the USS CHESAPEAKE, which is a brand new
ship. The CO is Captain Amanda Bell. Other members of the currently
assigned senior staff are mentioned in the information I downloaded for
you in the PADD. The ship itself is docked, in the main docking bay.
Questions?"
Keyrin shook her head.
"Good. Welcome to GREEN Fleet, Ensign, and good luck. Dismissed."
