I'm here to see Admiral Jokinen." Mary Driscoll looked at the Lieutenant, wondering what there was to smile about in her life. There certainly wasn't anything in her own. "Just a moment," she replied, and seemed to be making some arrangements in her mouth, before she hit the button for opening a commlink to Jokinen's office. "Sir, Lieutenant Anne Murray is here," she said, sounding anything but bored. In fact, she sounded like she was throughly enjoying life. [Send her in,] came the reply after a couple of seconds. Mary closed the connection. "The Admiral will see you now," she then said to Murray, summoning up a smile to go with the voice. It only lasted a second, though. Murray nodded, and walked through the doors that had opened quietly, and into Vice Admiral Matti Jokinen's office. She covered the distance to the Admiral's desk, and came to attention before it. "Lieutenant Anne Murray reporting for assignment, sir!" "At ease, Lieutenant," Jokinen replied in low growl, and rose halfway to take the PADD which Murray then offered. The chair creaked in protest, as he fell back into it. "The Science Officer for the CHESAPEAKE," Jokinen said, half to himself, half to Murray, reading the PADD. "Everything seems to be in order here," he then said, looking up at the Lieutenant. He touched a few buttons, and then handed the PADD back. "The CHESAPEAKE is still in dock. Captain Amanda Bell is the commanding officer, and Commander Daniel Brennan her XO. The OPS is one Lieutenant Commander th'Tellan. The PADD contains your orders, which will help you get permission to board the vessel. Report to Captain Bell. Welcome to Green Fleet, Lieutenant, and good luck. Dismissed." Jokinen turned his attention to something on his desk, and seemed to totally have forgotten Lieutenant Murray's presence. "Thank you, sir," she said, turned on her heels, and left.
