        Anne looked around her quarters for the last time.  The boxes were
all gone, the piano packed away somehow.  She had returned the holocube to
Counselor Tats-Marush's office, feeling just numb enough at the time to
ignore the fact that the Andorian at the desk had made a pass at her.  She
still had the gift from Mr. O'Graeach, and she had left a message for him
with Clarissa Darling.

        She had left Ensign Keyrin a message, and for Lt. Halivni.  She
wished that she had gotten to know them better... but she guessed it wasn't
to be.

        Commander th'Tellan would find his message waiting for him ten days
after her departure; she had seen to that.  And Commander Brennan... well,
one didn't leave messages for one's former Commanding Officers... did one?

        The Fieldings... she had left a long message with Derek; she had
been too depressed to see him again.  And she couldn't tell Melissa anything
the latter didn't already seem to know.

        But...

        Catherine.

        Anne couldn't conceive of leaving without saying goodbye to the one
real friend she had had on board the CHESAPEAKE.

        She hoped that Catherine wasn't too busy; maybe she could pop into
Sickbay again (how many times she had been there already!).

        Just for a quick hello.

        Or goodbye.

Matthew: Every time my PC leaves a ship, she seems to somehow *not* meet the
         current XO (this is the third time this has happened).  Weird. 
         Anyway, now LCDR Miris can deal with Fielding instead.  :)

Melvin: Sorry... I didn't know that Derek would be appointed today.  And if
        you *must* MiST this one, I suppose you *could*... but I'd still
        like to see "Going to See Melissa," if you don't mind... :)

Jim: Sorry Anne never got to meet Armstrong... but, really, she was a *lot*
     more fun in ALB, wasn't she?  <EG>

Lynnaea: I hope all is going well with you... I'm just sorry that Anne and
         Keyrin never got to know each other better... :(

Fabian: What can I say?  She really loved that silver egg... :)

Chris: To say that I'm depressed about this is an understatement... but
       there's one consolation... for me, at any rate.  If you want to, we
       can do one last RPG Anne-and-Catherine post... (and I *am* working on
       the Derek one!!!  <G>)

James: Well, Stavay *did* say it was on loan, didn't she?  The holocube, I
       mean?  And, anyway, I thought it was time Anne met the Andorian...
       <EG> At least she didn't rip his antennae... ;)

Naomi: WELCOME BACK!!!!!  :) :) :)  I'm really sorry that Anne and Galia
       won't be shipmates now... but maybe Derek can come see David some
       day... ;)
