Father - D'leth: Serving as militia on Praxis, and led a team to plant one of the antimatter bombs that destroyed the moon, thereby saving the Klingon homeworld. He and the other men who died there are honored as heroes in Klingon society

Q'Otan - Mother: Died on Praxis with her mate. Desiring death on their own terms, the parents performed the Hegh'bat (a Klingon suicide ritual) upon each other seconds before the detonation of the weapons that vaporized what remained of Praxis.

, S'Ardona is an anomaly in Klingon society. The fact that she keeps her head shaved is tolerated only because of the honor her parents earned for their family name in the final sacrifice on Praxis. Indeed, it is in their memory that she sets herself apart from her society. Because of her outlandish appearance, and the fact that she's female, she's been forced to defend herself from attack on a regular basis, making her exceptionally adept at hand to hand combat.

Finding contempt with the political machinations taking place in the Klingon government, she left Klingon space, knowing that as an orphaned female, her future in Klingon society was very bleak.

Served as weapons/tactical officer on a mercenary ship long enough to earn passage out of Klingon space. Using this experience, she applied to Starfleet Academy. After applying for the third time, she finally passed the entrance exam and was admitted.

S'Ardona excelled in two rather diverse areas of study in the Academy: Tactics/combat, and Diplomacy. She was so well recognized in unarmed combat that she served for 2 years as an instructor of the subject immediately after graduation.

Now after having completed her assignment as an instructor, she is eager for assignment to a ship.
