Bridge Features	Description
	The Command Chairs - These chairs are located in the middle of the bridge, and are reserved for the highest ranking officer onboard the ship. The center chair is the Command Chair, used by the commanding officer when his presence is required on the bridge. To the left of this chair is the XO's formal position, also used when his/her presence is needed. Often the XO can be found sitting in the command chair during shifts the the commanding officer is not active. Finally, to the right, is the Chief Counselors chair.
	Viewscreen - This is the bridges main viewscreen, where images of ships, planets, or incoming communications can be displayed. Located in front of the viewscreen are the Ops and Helms Stations.
	Operations Station - This station is located to the front of the bridge, and to the left of the Helm station. From here, many of the ships systems are monitored and controlled by the Chief Operations Officer, or the Assistant Chief Operations officer. Some engineering systems can also be routed through this station.
	Helm [Flight Control] Station - This station is also located to the front of the bridge, but this time to the right of the Operations station. It is from here that the ship is navigated, and piloted from, through the vastness of space by the Chief Flight Control Officer, or Assistant Chief Flight Control Officer.
	Science Station - This is where the Chief Science Officer may spend much of his time, analyzing and collating data that the ships sensors, and away teams gather for them. The entire Science Department is monitored and run from this console, which is why the chief spends much of his time here, if not down in one of the main science labs.
	Engineering Station - This is located directly opposite the science station on the bridge. Usually the Assistant Chief Engineer uses this station to monitor and relay engineering information between the engineering department and the captain. Often, however, the Chief Engineer may prefer to be located on the bridge rather than in engineering, and so will man this station. If need be, engineering can be run directly from here.
	Tactical Console - Towards the far left hand side of the bridge, the tactical station stands on it's own facing towards the main view screen. It is from here that the tactical systems are monitored and maintained, usually only during battle. This is the post that the Chief of Security, who doubles as Chief Tactical Officer, takes up during a battle. At most other times the Chief will remain in the security suite located elsewhere on the ship.
	Strategic Operations Console - This is the bridge console dedicated to the Strategic Operations Department during red alert, or other relevant conditions. Generally it is the Chief Strategic operations Officer who mans this station, although the Assistant Chief Strategic Operations Officer can be found here on occasion. Under normal conditions the Chief and Assistant Chief can be found in the Strategic Operations Suite, located a number of decks down.
	Other Workstations - On the right hand side of the bridge are littered three of six auxiliary consoles. The console closest is Mission Operations I, which monitors and lists the progress of mission currently being undertaken, as long as duties and assignments within the ship. The next console is Environmental controls, used to monitor and adjust the artificial environment within the ship. The console furthest away is quite appropriately positioned, as it is Science II, directly behind the main science station. It is from here that the Assistant Chief Science Officer can work in conjunction with the Chief in an environment outside of the science Labs.
	Other Workstations - On the left hand side of the bridge are littered the other three of six auxiliary consoles. The closest being the Missions Operations II console, which carries out the same function as Mission Operations I. The second console is Computer Access, for diagnostics and such on the main computer system. The final console is a mission configurable console, with the ability to act as a terminal for any department.
	Located through a door on the right hand side of the bridge is the captains ready room.
