Born as the only child to one of the Symbiont watchers, Ceri never had a lot of chance to see her own father. She never really understood why hecared so much for those 'slugs'. The young girl quickly heard that she was part of the small portion of the Trill populace that couldn't be joined. The reactions she got from the rest of the populace were unsettling to her. They felt sorry while she was actually glad and relieved. Trill quickly grew too small for the young Ceri and the last years of her schooling, she started to inquire about joining with Starfleet. Her father resisted against her choice, he wanted her to follow his career and become a guardian herself. The arguments between father and daughter were short, but intense. At her 18th birthday, she left home and payed for a transfer to Earth so she could do the entrance exam. Passing with flying colors, Ceri started her career on the Academy. For several years, she didn't return home, always stubbornly refusing to see her father. It was only when she graduated that they made things up again. He left his duties to see her graduate in San Fransisco. Her first assignment was on the Miranda class ship USS Delaware. The ship was a science orientated ship that did a lot of work within Federation borders. During her service there, she fell in love with an Adam Wilders, an engineering officer. They married in 2351, shortly thereafter Ceri got pregnant. Her pregnancy went fine until the last trimester. She bore her daughter, but got the news that she never could get children for the rest of her life. Her ovaria were damaged by the fetus. The couple transferred to Deepspace 3 to give Alysson, as the girl was called, a steadier upbringing than was possible on a starship. For years, everything went fine, untill disaster struck again. In late 2360, during a power failure over theentire station, Adam was caught in the afterblast of a plasma explosion. putting her pain aside, Ceri worked the sould out of her body to keep the station together. Only after everything was stable again, she allowed herself to grieve. Because of her efforts, she was promoted to lieutenant commander at the age of 34 and awarded the Federation Achievement medal. It was only a simple bandage on the grave would that Adam's death had left in her body. It was Alysson that held her upright, and sane, in that period. Four years later, she was promoted to first officer of the station. She performed her job the best she could. In 2367, Deepspace 3 was to be the host to a first contact with the Frenerian race. They had shortly therefore been approached as they had discovered warpspeed. She was to be responsible for the security measures on the station as the Frenerians had already angered the Andorians with some of their comments. Knowing full well that the official delegation of Andor could be trusted, Ceri took it upon herself to forbid access to all other Andorians to the station. This action reacted back upon her as several Andorian merchants brought their complaint to the Federation courts. They wanted a formal apoligy from the commander, but as stubborn as always, Ceri refused. after the debacle, Ceri was demoted to lieutenant commander and taken from the station. Taking all her leave at once, Ceri took a long sabattical with her daughter to Trill. Early 2368 she got a message that she was reassigned to the USS Maelstrom. The rest is still to be written...............

Ceri is a stubborn woman that always tries to whats best for everyone, but if necessary, steps on someones toes to get things done. She cares more about her daughter Alysson than everything else in the galaxy. Her daughter, Alysson Wilders, is currently 16 years old and well on her way on following in her father's steps and becoming a tinkerer. Being half-Trill, she has the spotting, but it is fainter than with her mother. Her stubbornness borders the same ferocity as her mother's although she has the ability to listen to reason too. Although that last is now fading due to her age.
