Mia was born on August 29, 2338 in LA.Her parents were only middle class and could not afford to send her to private schools. She attended the public schools and showed great potential in her grades, especially in human and animal biology and in arts and sciences. In high school she found that her interest lied in the field of medicine. In this area she was extremely advanced. She also decided that she wanted to practice medicine in Star Fleet, where she would get the chance to work with beings of different races and cultures. She put her application to Start Fleet when she was in her senior year of high school. She took the long battery of tests required, and was excited when she was accepted into the Academy. Her years at the Academy were long and hard, but she came out in the top 5% of her medical science classes. Her first years as a Star Fleet Ensign were aboard a science ship as a assistent medical officer. Two years later in the year 2367 she was commissioned to the USS Malestrom as Asst Chief Medical Officer. The rest is still to be written...............

Mia is a friendly out going sort, having a good bedside manner when dealing with patients. When it comes to her job however, she is in charge when it comes to sick bay. She has a more gentle and soft nature when off deuty and likes to have fun like everyone else.
