Physical Description: Nevin is 5’6 with short black hair and brown eyes. Although on the short side, Nevin is strongly muscled and well built.

Personal Information:

Nevin was born to parents in the Dakar province on Bajor. His mother and father were both adamant freedom fighters against the occupation of Bajor by the Cardassins. When Nevin was 12, both his parents were killed by the Cardassians.

A human working on Bajor took pity on the angry youth and smuggled him back to Earth. There Nevin was given to the monks of the Dragon Order. It was here that Nevin would not only find peace, but awaken a talent that no one seemed to know he had. Training with the monks centered Nevin to the point were he no longer felt any anger toward the Cardassins. The monks even arranged for Bajoran tutors to be brought in so that he could learn about his native planet.

When Nevin was 17 he asked the monks if he could enroll in Starfleet. He hoped his newfound spirituality might lead him into the unknown with a new outlook on life. The monks gave their blessings and Nevin was off to the academy.

Nevin is calm and cool under pressure and almost any other situation. He respects all life but knows that sometimes you have to protect those who can’t protect themselves by resorting to violence. Nevin is generally very friendly and outgoing.

Career History:
Nevin was an excellent student at the academy, always pushing himself to do better. He was a star on the academy’s martial arts team as well as an active member of the academy’s student government. Nevin was even approached by Red Squad and asked to join. He declined the offer, citing there were other better qualified candidates then him for the spot.

Nevin made quick work of most of his classes. He was able to predict the movements of enemy troops with surprising ease. Part of that was due to the fact that he took a whole summer full of psychology. Nevin also had the ability to quickly analyze and enemy attack pattern and come up with a defense and the weakness of the attacking force.

Nevin was originally supposed to join his friend Jason Barrett on the USS Hale but was transferred to the USS Soulwolf at the last moment.
