Personal Information:

Tolara was born in the capital city on Vulcan. Her father was a diplomat and her mother a scientist. When she was 12 years old her mother enlisted in Starfleet academy. Tolara decided to travel the universe with her mother as opposed to staying on Vulcan with her father.

Tolara is your typical Vulcan, stone faced and emotionless. Tolara is a very intelligent and dislikes the somewhat joking nature that Adam has set up in engineering. She would rather work alone then with a group.

Career History:
Tolara entered the academy and like most Vulcans studied diligently. Her forte seemed to be engineering, although she was equally adept at dealing with scientific information as well as working closely with the ships operations department. Although smart; Tolara found fitting in with a mostly human population difficult.

Tolara graduated at the top of her class in 2308 and was assigned to the USS Exeter. She served as an engineering assistant with the Exeter until 2312. She then requested a transfer to the Oberth class starship, USS Magellan, where she would be a part of the ship’s science department.

It was on the Magellan that Tolara was given her first taste of combat, attack by a Klingon scout the Magellan suffered heavy damage and crash landed on a planet deep within Klingon space. Tolara and one other crew member survived and were not rescued for close to 10 months.

Apon her rescue, Tolara resigned from the academy, heading back to Vulcan to take a position with their high command. She also was experiencing Pon Far. She took a mate and the two had three children together.

Apon Tolara was out of Starfleet for nearly 60 years before re-enlisting. Although she kept up to date on her science and engineer knowledge, she had to go through the academy again. This time her first assignment out was Deep Space Nine. After working on DS9 and later the Defiant she was transferred to the USS Soulwolf.
