Command 'n' Control "Duty Uniform" Medical Dept.      Medical uniforms are worn by those who work in Medlab, or are associated with the medical staff of the station and/or ship. While in Medlab working, most personnel opt for the normal surgical "smocks" which are designed to stay put while during the extensive movements encountered by a surgeon; and also are much less restrictive in movement. The position bars worn by Med Staff are solid red stripes.
Following the Battle for Independance, Captain Sheridan refused to wear his EarthForce uniforms since he & his staff no longer officially represented the Alliance. In order to help prepare Sheridan & the others for the coming war with the Shadows, Ambassador Delenn, of the Minbari Federation, commissioned special uniforms to be made for the Command Staff. The uniforms were made out of an especially rare plant since it would only grow in the soils of the Minbari homeworld.
