seaQuest "Duty Uniform" Command Dept.      "Command" uniforms are worn by any military officer aboard seaQuest. The uniform consists of a single black jumpsuit with a white turtleneck shirt underneath. Academy officers have their ranks on a blue triangle, while noncoms & "stallions" have theirs on a red triangle.
The idea of officers who have come up through the ranks from enlisting having the same color rank patches as noncoms is conjecture based on the fact that everyone who has the blue patch has been confimed of going through the Academy, while those with red aren't known to have gone through.
