spaceQuest Duty Uniforms
          During the original phases of construction, I had planned on going with the regular Fleet issue uniforms. However, as time & construction went on, I decided a better qualtiy uniform was required. With the help of a friendly Cardassian Tailor, we came up with the following designs. When they were first created, we had planned on sticking with the current three color scheme. However, as operations on the spaceQuest became more pronounced, it was realized three was insufficient. The extra two were chosen for their destinction, and in the case of the Marines, because it was already in use.

Command: All officers in the command section of the crew are required to wear "the cranberry of command", the maroon uniform while on duty.

Engineering, Operations, Security: All officers in Eng/Ops/Sec sections of the crew are required to wear the gold colored uniform while on duty. This protocol does not extend to officers on the Flight Deck, or to Military Police of the Marine Corp.

Medical, Sciences: All officers in the Med/Sci sections of the crew are required to wear the blue colored uniform while on duty. This protocol does not extend to Marine Field Medics.

Flight Deck: All officers of the flight deck are required to wear the purple based uniforms while on duty. The commanding officer of the flight deck may choose to wear either red or gold as well, however, their choice of color is permenant.

Marines: Marines are required to wear the green uniforms while on duty. This protocol on extends to Starfleet operations. This does not include situations of combat or other positions where the uniform might endanger the Marine. They are also required to follow all Marine Corp regulations for off-duty dress.
