Surprise! The GSS Protectress,a Galadonese warship, comes to the aid of their hated enemy after an invading race launches what was to be a fatal attempt to destroy the TSF Vindicator. The Vindicator is saved but the Protectress takes on serious damage. Several decks will have to be vented to prevent the raging fire from destroying the whole ship. It is estimated that 400 people will lose their lives to save the rest of the crew.
Yet another surprise! The TSF Vindicator, a Turethian cruiser, comes to the aid of the Galadons and beams the 400 onboard, saving their lives so the decks can be vented.
Thus begins a new era in Galadonese-Tureth relations- A truce and work towards a real and lasting peace treaty.
