| Mr.
Jacobs joined Starfleet when he turned 18. His parents wanted him
to
work on a freighter, despite them joining Starfleet, but Richard
figured he'd have more of a future in Starfleet. So Richard
joined Starfleet. At first he wanted to serve as a member of a
special covert operations team. Then Temporal Investigations
caught his eye and so Richard took the training in his Second year at
the academy. Then Richard saw that he could utilize the personal
training for flying fightercraft, so he enrolled in the Fighter Wing
Training Facility. Then in Richard's 4th year at the academy, he
joined the Command School. While serving aboard the USS Sierra, Richard
was given the position of Second officer after serving 2 years onboard
as Wing Commander. 2 years later the ship was destroyed while
assisting the USS Enterprise-E against the Scimitar at Romulus, the
entire crew except the XO escaped the destruction of the Sierra. 2
weeks
after the destruction of the USS Sierra, the USS Sierra-B was
commissioned and given to Capt. Wyatt. Capt. Wyatt promoted Richard to
Commander and made him XO. 2 years after that the USS Edmund Fitzgerald
was being commissioned, so Capt. Wyatt put in a recommendation to
Starfleet
Command that Cmdr. Jacobs be awarded his own command. The USS Edmund
Fitzgerald was given to now Capt. Jacobs. |
