Bio - Etna was born a commoner, Having never known her parents she was a born a simple Vassal to the late king Krichevskoy. When she started working in the castle, she was very naive and acted like a scared little girl. Other demons would pick on her for her low status and the only thing that would get her through her day was her faithful pet.
One day, however, she found her pet murdered by the same demons that picked on her. Unable to do anything about it herself, she just cried. That's when King Krichevskoy reached out his hand to her and helped her bury her pet. It was then that Etna pledged to him her deepest loyalty and did her best every day to serve him faithfully.
She slowly fell in love with him--but was only to be disappointed when the King fell in love with a witch--a human--who'd come there to study in the netherworld. Etna came to hate the woman; the one who could make the King smile. When the Prince was born, Etna couldn't have had more mixed feelings. He was the symbol of the King and Queen's love, but he was also the King's son...
But before she could do anything about her hatred, the Queen died and the Prince started to change right before her eyes. Shortly after, Baal, the Lord of Terror attacked the Netherworld. The King died sealing away the monstrous demon. Etna begged and pleaded with the King for him to allow her to give her life like the Queen had, but he refused. Instead, she made her promise to look after Laharl; he wanted her to make sure he became a magnificent Overlord.
Unfortunately, shortly after a Demon by the name of Maderas stole Etna's memories and blackmailed her with them. She was forced to poison the Prince--although she copped out at the last minute and instead changed her plans. She used Prince Laharl and bought out the Prinny Squad hired to look after her, and ultimately turned on Maderas and got her memories back, as well as made him her slave.
From then on, Etna's been a loyal and supportive vassal to Laharl ...so long as it suits her.
