Bio - Princess Nausicaa was born in the Valley of the Wind 1000 years after the seven years of fire, when giants took over the land, destroying most habitable parts of the earth. When the fires receded, the earth was left a barren wasteland. Poisonous fungal forests took the place of trees, and giant insects roamed throughout. Humans were forced to band together in small groups, to fight for the few patches of life-sustaining land they could find. As she grew, Nausicaa learned to appreciate the dangerous world she lived in, developing a strong bond with all living things. When she became old enough, she inherited the position as leader of her village, pledging to defend her people against the other dispersed clans, as well as protect the forest that threatens her very being.

Nausicaa is not a war seeker, but she will fight bravely to defend the things that mean the most to her.
