At sea en route to Noemfoor Island, Dutch New Guinea. c. 1944-06. 
A U.S. patrol craft boat (PC 1132), comes alongside a landing ship, tank (LST) with official orders for RAAF engineers and mail for RAAF troops en route to the Allied landing on 2 July 1944.
