Personal History:
Dr. Travis Van Dyne and his wife, T'Prang died in shuttle accident while on Starbase 12. Malori was left in the custody of her Godmother who, upon learning she was dying, entrusted her, and her "brother" and "sister," to Rei'Sha to care for and raise. Shortly after arriving on the USS Scorpius the small family was adopted by members of the crew so they could stay together. Malori’s mother became Creide MacLir who later married Dean Blair.
Dean got command of his own ship in 2379 and Creide had orders to join his new crew. They were going on a top secret mission and would not be able to take Malori with them, so the whole crew jumped in to take care of her.
In 2382 Malori's parents had been declard MIA when their shuttle disappeared without a trace. Admiral Miller pulled some strings with Starfleet and granted Captain Crego full parental rights. If her parents are not found after 6 months then Captain Crego will be allowed to formally adopt her. Malori requsted to have only one last name now, the Captain's.
