Personal History:
Being a Trill allows me the enviable gift of being born over and over again. My most recent birth was in a small village of the country Scotland on earth. My previous host had been involved in an accident while visiting this throwback village. Peg was visiting at the same time and the transfer was made. Though not born, as some are, to the life of a symbiont she has proven to be an outstanding host.
I have lived many lives and in all of them I have worked, in some capacity, as a nurse. The profession, as medical advances, have come a long way and I am never bored with my chosen profession. It allows me the opportunity to interact with many.
My most memorable assignment was working along side of the legendary Dr. Bones McCoy. I found his "country doctor" mentality and efficient manner a joy to work with and I learned a great deal from him. Because of his encouragement I have been allowed the good fortune to continue working along side Starfleet physicians throughout the years. In 2378 I began to serve Starfleet as a commissioned officer and am currently a Lieutenant and serving as Head Nurse. In addition Starfleet confirmed the death of my beloved husband Raymond Hanson prior to my giving birth to his daughters, twins. I believe this will be my last life as a Trill.
Personality:
Being 319 allows me the "aged" consideration...and I use it to full advantage. I have no problem speaking my mind. With age comes wisdom, this is true. My wisdom, common sense and instincts have served me well and I don't intend to ignore them now.
In my off time I find my peace in meditation, reading and am always up for a good holofight. I am well versed in swords, rapiers, and that curved Klingon blade they love so much. A good hand to hand will always win my admiration for any willing to take on the old girl. But be aware...You will lose.
Education:
Age is my education though I have served Starfleet well in a civilian capacity. Recently Captain Crego gave me the field promotion of Lieutenant.
Starfleet Background:
I have worked with several physicians and healers over the many years and have enjoyed my time on each of the starships I have called home. Starfleet has seen fit to bestow upon my several commendations but it is the smile of a child and the healing of the ill that I find most rewarding.
