Comments:
The largest and most powerful vessels in the Ferengi fleet, Starfleet's official first contact with the Ferengi was with a D'Kora class vessel the crew of which had recently stolen a power convertor from a Federation outpost. The D'Kora has proved to be very nearly the equal of the Galaxy class in terms of speed, however it's offensive capapbilities are limited.
The D'Kora, like all Ferengi designed vessels, is primarily a trading ship. Its devotes most of its internal volume to cargo space, trading areas and strong room facilities to store commercial gains. The Ferengi typically operate these vessels beyond their own borders on long duration trading missions which mirror the Federations exploratory programmes.
